“Marching to the Resurrection”

During the month of March (leading up to Resurrection Sunday), we’re going to take the following ‘walks’:
 
March 7th   - “These things…do not forget!” 1 Corinthians 11:20-34 (Communion Sunday).
March 14th – “A Different Kind of Caring”  1 Peter 5:6-11.
March 21st – “The Passionate, The Personal & The Powerful” 1 Corinthians 15:1-11.
March 28th – “The Continuing Procession” John 12:12-19 (Palm Sunday).

 

Brothers & Sisters, let me encourage you!  

 

Start reading these verses each week. After reading, pray for understanding & wisdom.  After praying, ask God to reveal Himself to you. Also ask God to teach you something about Himself that you did not know.  After we’ve read and prayed for understanding & wisdom…and after we’ve asked God to reveal Himself to us and teach us about Himself, we then need to thank Him, praise Him, and –most of all- love Him.  Thank Him because He gave us the breath of life.  Praise Him because He is worthy to be praised. Love Him, because He first loved us, when we were unlovable.
 Beloved, it has ALWAYS been about Him and NEVER about us!  Come, let’s show Him that we care about what’s most important to Him [His greatest creation] human beings.
